A young Rabbi in training from Israel, Liron Yosef, was assigned to accompany the small community in Kosice, the second largest city in Slovakia. The old rabbi was dismissed, too much expulsion and murder. There were 12,000 Jewish people living there, today there are 600. His apartment is empty. The Jewish community in Kosice has a sad history.
In the performance, Liron Yosef guides the visitors through this empty apartment and resurrects the life in it with his words. He comes from the rabbi‘s books and research on the whole life of the community. A Jewish life that once flourished.
